Dj Gonzalo first made his name at Trade in the 90s.  He now plays on a regular basis at Fire in London.  He is well known on the gay scene throughout Europe.  He tends to now play a more deep progressive style.  But still plays occasional hard sets.  He was much missed at Trades 20th Birthday.  There was so much outcry about him not playing at Trades 20th that it was the gay club scene version of Gamu gate.
